Initial Idea:
When we were first given this theme to work on, we immediately thought of photographing different subjects for example art, science, math’s ect. However, when we looked into the theme in more depth we found that they may be good photographs but they would not have an obvious meaning or tell a story.
The group decided to base the photographs on ‘The Truth of Education’. To do this we will be taking a picture each, the first image will be of a teacher at their desk, after spending hours preparing for a lesson. This is to show how much teachers have to do to prepare for lessons that my not turn out how they anticipated. The second image will be of the teacher in the classroom feeling stressed and worn out when the lesson is not going to plan and the students are misbehaving. The students will be throwing things around the classroom and ignoring the instructions that are given to them. Lastly, we will capture the moment that the class has left and the teacher has been left with the mess created by student. In the photo we will try to capture the emotion of the teacher of feeling drained and overwhelmed.
